and WHeeeeW
what a week it has been!!!
CRAY to the Z
CRAZY
what better way to recap my week than to join Doodlebugs and her
I am pretty sure Kacey will forgive me for posting a day late.
So if you follow me on instagram...
you already saw this
but my kiddo decided to play in the urinal last Friday...
and he got in trouble
apparently he did this disgusting thing several times throughout the day
UNTIL he finally got tattled on...
so the next morning he woke up with...
what we could do to make him not do this again...
so bring out the purple eyeshadow and whaa law
I got up early to perform this clever trick
and as I was in my final swirl of purple eyeshadow on my fingertip... in walks Bubs...
ahhhhh soooo plan B
I walked up to him...
purple fingertip hidden and said
OH MY GOSH WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU...
and proceeded to touch his face randomly with my purple finger as I said...
YOU HAVE PURPLE DOTS ALL OVER YOUR FACE...
ah ha... it was a success
he ran to his bathroom and screamed...
what is this... what happened
I went in there and took this pic...
I told him to go show his dad-oh
who was still asleep...
Bub runs to our bed and comes back out...
Dad says it is URINALitis... because I played in the urinal...
I pretended to call our Dr
and the Dr said
NEVER FEAR...
your spots will fade away IF
you have a good day!!!
spots were gone by that night...
WHY because we had a party to go to!!!
and when he got a little cray at the party
I would say
OH NO ... I think I see a spot coming back... and that was that!!!
Every Monday after school
Bub and I decorate this dry erase board in my hallway.
OK really I decorate it because I am a control frAAA REaK
and I tried to let him do some doodles and lines... um it turned into WWE and soooo
I do the final publishing and he has a little dry erase board that he does the rough draft...
no more Hulk Mamma versus I Can't Draw a Straight Line BUB
It sits in an awkward little corner...
the board is actually mine BUT in my new room it doesn't have a home soooo...
here it sits...
EVERY kiddo from k-5th comes down my hall throughout the week...
because the music room is at the end of our hallway
and so I THINK... every kiddo gets to see our little board!!!
Bub and I LOVE doing these together!!!
It makes Mondays a bit happier!!!
I did a sponsored review for BiC a few posts back
click the pic to go see it if you missed it...
WELL they LOVED Bub's little review so much they sent him some more mechanical pencils...
HE LOVES THESE
his review was cute and TRUE!!!
it was so sweet of them!!!
and
he was so excited to get these...
especially since he was sent home with fever that day!!!
poor guy he is still having fever off and on today...
Dr. said it is NOT Urinalitis but some virus...
usually lasts about 72 hours
so we wait, hydrate, and rest and we are on hour 60 something
fingers crossed this ends soon!!!
note... he hasn't had continuous fever... it goes away for awhile and then BAM... it comes back...
go away fever and stay away!!!
I did this lesson last year...
and it was a hit
click on the pic to go to the post from last year...
so this year I pumped up the theme...
ALL WEEK we had CRAYON themed readings and plays and poems...
it was a ton of fun!!!
Everything we read was a wonderful example of personification!!!
My kiddos really loved the book
before I was even done reading...
all the peach crayons in my class were naked...
and throughout the week whenever they had to color
a lot of them used yellow and orange together because they didn't want them to fight anymore
so needless to say we are super attached to our crayons
SOOOOO when it was time for our science lesson on
what happens to a solid when heat is applied
I had a lot of...
you are killing them...
what did they do to you...
OH NO... STOP!!!
I kinda felt bad!!!
After the art/science experiment was done...
they thought it was the coolest thing
and I was back in their good graces
and was no longer on the Most Wanted List for
killing crayons
if you follow me on instagram (farleyfarleyfarley)
you can go and check out a little video clip and hear their comments
it is pretty funny!!!
of course we celebrated Tallulah's Birthday...
what better way to celebrate than with spider cupcakes...
the other goodies on the plate are from our smores solar oven disasters...
let's just say our school yard needs to be sprayed for ants...
thank goodness I bought extras!!!
so Tallulah's Party had extra goodies!!!
my kiddos truly love this tarantula and it makes my heart happy
I have a blog post in the making that goes into more details bout our little girl Tallulah...
and her scary birthday week...
I think you will find it terrifyingly terrific!!!
